    The County Government of Embu is committed to ensuring that deserving citizens get their dues and the citizens of Embu get value for their money in the most transparent and humane way possible.
    As a result, a preliminary report has been received.  
    The Committee has Terms of Reference as below:
    (a) Scrutinize and analyze all existing stock of Embu County Government pending bills, with a view to making appropriate recommendations to the County Treasury for payment or otherwise.
    (b) To obtain and record the history of the bill (s).

  • EMBU COUNTY STAFF ESTABLISHMENT AUDIT

    Embu County Government is on  course to establishing a FIT FOR PURPOSE Human Resource Establishment that will expedite service delivery, professionalism, efficiency and meet the set timelines.

    To this effect, we have partnered with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), an independent body of expertise concerned with matters regarding HRM whose goal is to enhance competencies and capabilities while supporting innovative and transformative HR practices and standards.

  • Good News for Embu Residents as KenGen and Embu County Government Hold Bilateral Talks on Partnerships

    Nairobi, Thursday, March 2, 2023: Residents of Embu County have a reason to smile after Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) and Embu County Government today held bilateral talks and agreed to work together.
    The talks which took place at the KenGen Head offices led by Embu Governor, H.E Cecily Mbarire, and KenGen’s Ag. Managing Director and CEO, Abraham Serem singled out various emergency-related projects and long-term initiatives to be implemented under an agreed partnership arrangement.

  • Commissioning Of The Gitanangungu Conreter Dam Maji Mashinani!

    This afternoon, I have commissioned the desilting of the Gitanangugu reinforced concrete dam in Mavuria ward, Mbeere South. 
    The Desilting of the Dam is a key area of intervention to increase the existing reservoir's capacity so as to provide the local community with water.
    The dam will be very beneficial to different community members across the different value chains including honey, mangoes, muguka and livestock farmers.

  • Cabinet Meeting. 27th February 2023

    H.E the Governor chaired the 4th Cabinet meeting to receive departmental reports and plans going forward for the County.
    We have considered important County Agenda and documents including; the County Fiscal Strategy Paper 2023/2024, County Budget Review and Outlook Paper, Debt Management Strategy Paper 2023 among others.
    I have called on our County Executive Committee Members to ensure that they offer a collective voice on policy issues to ensure that we deliver on our promises to the people of Embu.
