EMBU COUNTY STAFF ESTABLISHMENT AUDIT
Embu County Government is on course to establishing a FIT FOR PURPOSE Human Resource Establishment that will expedite service delivery, professionalism, efficiency and meet the set timelines.
To this effect, we have partnered with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), an independent body of expertise concerned with matters regarding HRM whose goal is to enhance competencies and capabilities while supporting innovative and transformative HR practices and standards.
1. Conduct a physical head count of all County Government staff aimed at establishing the exact number of staff at the county workforce.
2. Undertake a cleanup of the County payroll following an audit by the National Treasury on the National and County Governments payrolls done last year, and advice from the State Department for Public Service whose findings and recommendations were adverse and raised serious concerns.
3. Regularize our wage bill to within the recommended range.
