Commissioning Of The Gitanangungu Conreter Dam Maji Mashinani!

This afternoon, I have commissioned the desilting of the Gitanangugu reinforced concrete dam in Mavuria ward, Mbeere South. 
The Desilting of the Dam is a key area of intervention to increase the existing reservoir's capacity so as to provide the local community with water.
The dam will be very beneficial to different community members across the different value chains including honey, mangoes, muguka and livestock farmers.
I was joined by Area MCA- John Ngari Mbaka, Muminji MCA- Newton Karish, Kiambere MCA- Lenny Masters, Our CECM for Agriculture, Livestock, Blue Economy & Co-peratives Development John Nyaga, Chief Officers from the department and other County Officials.
Resolving the water challenge is a personal committment to self and to the people of Mbeere.
My Government is intent on addressing water challenges to ensure sustainable domestic and irrigation water for all in Embu.
